If you have digital photos, videos,or other graphics which you wish
to submit, please comply with the following instructions.
|
|
- Please send an email to webmaster@wesleyvillehose.com to notify him. Provide information such as the number of pictures, the size of the total file, where and when and other details
about where the pictures were taken, other event information, etc.
- All submissions will be individually
and collectively scanned for any viruses, and rejected if any virus is even remotely thought to exist.
- Management
reserves the right to reject any and all photo submissions for content or other reasons. If this is ever the case,
an email with the full reasons will be sent to you, with a copy sent to the web site liaison.
- If you wish to create
your own photo gallery and wish us to link to it, we will be glad to provide this service. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=photo+gallery+web+sites&fr=yessv is a link to find some of these online offerings, or use a web search of your choice.
- Graphics or
animations that you wish to offer should be in .jpg or .gif format.

- All pictures should be in .jpg or .gif format. Due to our server system, we may not be able
to publish other formats.
- Edited pictures would be greatly appreciated, but are not necessary. However,
if they have not been filtered, sized, cropped, or otherwise edited, it will take much longer to post to a gallery.
- Please
name your photos, such as "AmyandMikeattraining,jpg," or similar type names, using a brief descriptive
name for each photo.
- Nothing is more maddening than trying to sort or rename photo names such as "20080000000556.jpg"
or "img00006677788" - please take the time to right click on each photo in your files and
change them to the proper short but descriptive name before submission - PLEASE?
- Before sending your photos, please
be sure and not leave any spaces in the actual "Save As" or "Rename" designation when
renaming your photos. The above example is the correct format for submitting photo names.
- If necessary, please
submit any other specific instructions or directions, sequences, etc., and we will do our best to comply. If for
some reason we are not able to, you will receive an email telling you why.

- Once the webmaster has been notified, he will assume that all photos have been properly renamed.
He will then give you email instructions on where and how to upload the photos.
- After your photos have been received,
please be patient as the webmaster enters them into a brand new photo gallery, as this takes a little time
to do. He will email you when the new gallery has been completed and published to the web
- If there are any
corrections to be made after publishing, please email the webmaster with the name of the specific photograph(s) and
the correction. He will get on it quickly.

- Video Submissions
We will be glad to review any digital videos which
you wish to submit to the web site. The above rules and procedures will apply. We expect them to viewable by all ages,
to be edited for unnecessary content as best as possible, and to be in the following formats only:
Proper credit will be given to all submissions
